It is hard to believe I have now completed two-thirds of my time in office as High Sheriff, and November has been a very busy month. I have continued to undertake duties in all three areas of the role.
- Upholding the Crown & the Judiciary including promoting inter faith and belief relations, and supporting the role of Lord-Lieutenant

- visited Milton’s Cottage in Chalfont St Giles to discuss ways of helping them raise profile of 350th anniversary of John Milton’s death.
- took part at Milton Keynes Rose in Remembrance Day Service
- participated in and read at Remembrance Sunday Service and Parade in Aylesbury Town Centre
- took part in Nomination Panel for future High Sheriff and undertook related tasks.
- visited Youth Concern and UnityMK to support work of both charities.
- attended High Sheriff of Hertfordshire’s Justice Service
- Supporting and promoting the work of the police, probation, prison, emergency, and crime prevention services

- participated in regional High Sheriff’s meeting in Oxford with High Sheriffs’ Association and regional current and future High Sheriffs of Berkshire and Oxfordshire, and with Chief Constable Thames Valley Police Jason Hogg
- Convening and championing the voluntary public and business sectors – focussing on Domestic and Sexual Violence, Violence against Women & Gurls (VAWG) and building sustainable communities

- visited Sexual Assault & Abuse Support Service Buckinghamshire & Milton Keynes SAASSBMK
- undertook planning meetings for the VAWG late autumn conference
- held the VAWG Conference Report to Court on 24 November 2023
- took part in and spoke at Voices of Women of Milton Keynes (VoW) for #White Ribbon #VAWG
